Some creative tools I use:

• A pen & written utensils (pencils, pens, crayons, paints, etc.)
• Procreate drawing app for iPad
  • Digital writing utensils
  • Other photo-editing & gif-making tools
• Professional cameras and/or phone cameras
• Canva
  • I use Canva especially to make free, colored QR codes
• Digital editing apps, such as VSCO
  • I use these for touch-ups and other visual effects
• Any word processor with/without Internet connection
  • Google Suite
  • Microsoft Suite
  • Pages
• An inexpensive Google Chromebook for writing-only

Under zero circumstances or projects, I do not use any A.I. tools or assistance.

I believe the creative process — from brainstorming to publication — is an intrinsically human-centered collaboration; I prefer to work with a person’s developing ideas, no matter how unfinished or flawed they may be, rather than the derivative product of an A.I. bot.
