Since my fifth grade friend group convinced me to get an Instagram account in 2011, I’ve learned how social media works — how trends change, how people want to connect with friends and ideas online, and how in-app features can be used to expand online presence and personality.
Between 2011 and now, I’ve led several social media campaigns and developed many pages and blogs. I was especially active during the years 2014-2016, independently or collaborating with friends to run…
- Mental Health Support pages
- Instagram and Tumblr
- Music (Japanese Rock) and Fandom (Marvel, Film, etc.) blogs
- Tumblr, Reddit
- Art Portfolios
- Instagram and Tumblr
- Online Curation
- Instagram and Tumblr
After going back to school in 2019, I’ve expanded upon my editorial skills and social media management experience by volunteering as a poetry reader and WordPress blog coordinator for Black Fox Literary Magazine, and a Marketing Assistant for the University of Washington Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing program’s monthly reading series, Castalia.
My communications and graphic design skills have also served psychiatry clinics, local sporting events, and theatrical plays.
Here’s what I can do:
- Copywriting — As a creative writer of many genres, I can produce blog posts, email threads, social media posts, and other written communications for any targeted audience.
- Graphic Design & Layout — With my iPad and other physical art mediums, I can provide you with attractive, succinct posters, promotional material, and visual communications.
- Social Media and Website Management — I can lead social media campaigns and other strategies for increasing online/media presence, including managing accounts, reaching out to local magazine publishers, and finding more opportunities for sponsorship and outreach events.

What you could expect from me:
- Thoughtful, Appealing Ready-To-Publish Drafts — I research and take the time to understand your business/organization/event in order to produce the most consistent, on-brand written communications.
- Streamlined Process — If you provide me with concrete deadlines (ex. “I need this posted every Tuesday”), I’ll make sure we draft, revise, and publish on an efficient, flexible timeline.
- A Combination of Writing Skills & Technical Expertise — I am able to optimize and schedule posts for social media and websites/blogs, such as:
- Meta (Instagram/Facebook)
- WordPress
- Medium
- Squarespace
- Tumblr
- Twitter (or X) and BlueSky
I primarily use Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Drive, Slides) to work, collaborate, and store files.
